JOIN OUR SALONS, BE CURIOUS AND INSPIRED!

I know of no place, no gathering, where art and culinary delights, people with incredibly diverse and fascinating backgrounds, engage in lively and animated storytelling, explaining, and sometimes philosophizing. The salon culture is once again at home in Berlin, at Kit. Thank you for this palate-pleasing and perfectly executed evening.

Yvonne M. Nov. 23
Our SALON series presents creative thinkers from the arts, humanities, and sciences. Here you can engage in a vibrant conversation in a small group of people and be inspired by the guest speaker's stories, their cultural, scientific or sociological investigations.

FOOD
As your host, myself or invited chefs or food artists, create and serve either a dinner, luncheon, or brunch.Whichever it is, it will be self-cooked with high quality organic produce and accompanied by good wine, or a trendy non-alcoholic cocktail.

COSTS
it's a small fee, pre-payment only, ranging between 35 € and 70 €, depending on scale of event, food and drinks. Tickets are available here on this website.

UPCOMING

short series: salons featuring artist couples

Parallel, Opposite or Symbiotic?  No. 1

The event has been canceld due to unforeseen circumstances. We apologize for any inconvenience. We hope to find a new date in 2025.

ANGELIKA ARENDT + JULIUS WEILAND

In this salon, we are introducing Angelika Arendt and Julius Weiland as an artist couple in dialogue, each creating their own sets of work. During a late summer luncheon, they will share with us, for example, how their creative collaboration, if any, influences their individual artistic styles, and in what ways each of them supports the other's artistic endeavors.

PATRICK GABLER

5 + 7 + 5 equals either 17 or a haiku

Writing Haikus is an ancient game stemming from the spirit of old Buddhism. Patrick Gabler has joined the community of Haiku writers. Remaining faithful to the rules of Haiku, he combines his words with drawings, thus recalling the original connection between writing and drawing in Haiku. In his verses, he touches upon a question rarely encountered in traditional Haiku: How do I return from my self to the You, to You?
